RYANAIR USING COVID 19 TO LOWER STANDARDS EVEN MORE SAY CABIN CREW

Hello Jonny, First of all I'd like to thank you for your efforts in exposing the bad in Ryanair through the years. I'll tell you about my story with them. I worked through a Crewlink contract for 2.5 years and then had my contract terminated 6 months before the termination of it. Now they are using the COVID-19 situation to further lower the standards, they offered to me to be re-hired with a payment scheme that makes impossible to earn above 900 GBP (after tax) per month even working the maximum hours allowed by flight time regulations. Regards. Terminated Cabin Crew.

Italy Threatens to Ban Ryanair for Violation of COVID-19 Measures-LOOK WHAT RYANAIR/CREWLINK DID TO CABIN CREW TRAINEES IN MARCH 2020!

ITALIAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD BAN RYANAIR NOW.... Ryanair/Crewlink abandoned 15 Italian cabin crew trainees that tested positive for covid 19 back in March 2020 in Dublin. Judy Byrne and Andrew Ryan, chief exploiters for Ryanair at Crewlink wanted this Irish Times article pulled. https://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/coronavirus-trainee-ryanair-crew-in-dublin-quarantine-after-positive-tests-1.4209100 These 15 cabin crew trainees were doing some in-house training in the Crewlink building in Dublin. They were all herded together with little or no regard for anybody's health and safety even though 15 of them had tested positive for civid 19... These 15 Ryanair/Crewlink trainees were kept in the Travelodge near Dublin Airport, and once they tested positive, Ryanair refused to acknowledge their existence, and washed their hands of these 15 trainees,Crewlink then washed their hands also and left these 15 trainees stranded. Crewlink told all trainees that they were no longer responsible for them, and that they should contact the Italian embassy in Dublin to see if their own government could do anything to help them. These trainees were dumped in the Travelodge, and forgotten about. One of their parents kicked up such a fuss, that Crewlink (under pressure from the Italian embassy) were forced to at least come to some arrangement with Ryanair to try to expatriate them - at a cost...... Italy Threatens to Ban Ryanair for Violation of COVID-19 Measures.... Italian’s Civil Aviation Authority “ENAC” has threatened to ban Dublin’s airline Ryanair from flying to Italy due to “repeated violation of anti-COVID-19 health measures”, ENAC announced. According to the country’s Civil Aviation Authority, Ryanair did not correctly follow the rules imposed by the Italian government to tackle the pandemic Coronavirus, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports. However, Ryanair has considered these accusations “fatally incorrect” insisting that passengers and crew have the highest safety level all the time. The company though a statement said that all procedures were “in line with the safety recommendations and measures set out by the Italian government”. Besides, according to Ryanair, they have prevented the unnecessary gathering of persons, while masks are obligatory for all passengers. The airline stressed that the aircraft are fitted with air filters capable of catching particles similar in size to the Coronavirus pandemic. Still, ENAC accused Ryanair of failing to meet these requirements. Ryanair does not offer any blocked seats onboard, meaning that social distancing rules are not followed. If the airline continues to violate Italy’s government imposed rules could be banned from flying to Italy and vice versa, or the regulator could only book flights to 50 per cent capacity, to give passengers more space. At present, Ryanair planes are eligible to use 29 Italian airports; therefore, restrictions would not permit the company to raise its flight volumes. On Tuesday, the airline revealed that it carried 4.4 million passengers in July, less than 70 per cent, compared to the previous year. During the first seven months of 2020, the number of passengers was down 35 per cent year on year. This was not the first time that the airline faced accusations, Ryanair has previously been criticized over its handling of official requests for information to run test-and-trace operations. Berlin-Spandau health office, in Germany, said Ryanair took several days to send a passenger list from a flight containing passengers who later tested positive for COVID-19.... https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/news/italy-threatens-to-ban-ryanair-for-violation-of-covid-19-measures/
